Getting here

Welcome to All Saint's Church, one of six Anglican (Church of England) churches in the Chenderit Benefice in the Diocese of Peterborough.

The Grade 1 church building dating from about 1300 is famous for it's collection of Burne-Jones windows described by Pevsner (1951-74) as ‘a place of great enjoyment, the Holy of Holies of Morris glass’ and two painted ceilings designed by William Morris. The font is 15th century and in the churchyard there are Table Tombs and the bodies of 46 Parliamentarian soldiers buried after the battle of Middleton Cheney in 1642.

Inside the church there are toilet and kitchen facilities, a place for coffee and refreshments and a children’s area. Seating includes both comfortable chairs and pews and worship takes place on a dais in front of the Rood Screen.

Our monthly worship includes All Age Family worship ‘SAINTS ALIVE’, Songs of Praise ‘SAINTS PRAISE’ and a service of Holy Communion ‘SAINTS TOGETHER’ using material from Common Worship. We also offer Messy Church and First Steps for pre-school children.

Believing that the Bible is God’s inspired word we seek to present Biblical truth in an attractive, informative and relevant way. We want to help every person develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

We would be delighted if you would like to join us on that journey. Please get in touch if you would like to learn more or to look round the Church.  May God lead you closer to Himself and bless and enrich your life.
