Activities for Families

Family-Friendly Activities in Kingsthorpe Parish

Across our three churches—St David’s, St John the Baptist, and St Mark’s—we love welcoming families into our parish life. Whether you’re looking for play, worship, or creative time together, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a taste of what we offer:

Little Stars ✨

A lively group for babies, toddlers, and their carers. We enjoy songs, stories, playtime, and crafts in a safe and friendly space. It’s a wonderful way for little ones to learn and grow, while parents and carers connect over tea and coffee.  We meet weekly during term time at St Mark's Church on a Tuesday afternoon.

Woodland Church 🌿

Worship in the great outdoors! Families gather on Bradlaugh Fields to explore God’s creation through storytelling, nature activities, and prayer. Expect fresh air, muddy boots, and plenty of fun as we discover faith in the beauty of the natural world.  Followed by crafts and cakes in the barn! We meet monthly on a Sunday afternoon.

Brick Church 🧱

A monthly Sunday afternoon service designed for all ages. We share Bible stories, build with LEGO and other creative materials, and enjoy tea together. Brick Church is relaxed, imaginative, and perfect for families who love hands-on activities.

We’d love you to join us at any of these family-friendly gatherings. Whether indoors or outdoors, quiet or lively, there’s a place for you and your children to belong in Kingsthorpe Parish.  You can find the details of our upcoming dates under 'Services and Events'.
