This is the Feast of St Francis. It is a fun service where we celebrate the bond between humans and animals with prayers, readings and treats. We love to meet your furry or scaly friends and give them a blessing. St Francis ,who is patron saint of animals, is celebrated for his profound love for nature and his belief that all living creatures are creations of God and deserve to be treated with kindness. So do join us on Peter’s patch if dry or the church hall if it is wet to celebrate the diversity of our pets and the joy they bring us. We always start our gathering with drinks, biscuits and cake as we get to know each other. Please bring all well-behaved pets . We have had dogs, cats, hens, snakes, tortoises not to mention stick insects. All are welcome.
