All Souls is a time when we remember before God those whom we love but see no longer. It is an opportunity to remember those who have died, whether recently or many years ago, to give thanks for their lives and to hold our memories, our grief and our hope in the presence of God.

Join us for a gentle and reflective service of readings, music and prayer, with an opportunity to light a candle in memory of someone you love.

Everyone is welcome, whether your loss is recent or long ago, and whether or not you regularly come to church.

Looking for the Light: Advent Lessons and Carols

As Advent begins, join us for a beautiful candlelit service of readings, carols, choral music and prayer as we prepare for Christmas.

Beginning in darkness, light gradually fills the church as we hear again the great Advent themes of longing, hope and expectation and look towards the coming of Christ, the Light of the World.

With familiar Advent hymns, music from our choir, moments of stillness and readings from Scripture, this is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of the season and begin Advent together.

Our Christingle Service is a joyful celebration for all ages, as we hear the Christmas story, sing together and discover the meaning of the Christingle. As the candles are lit, the church fills with light as we remember Jesus, the Light of the World.

A relaxed and welcoming service, particularly suitable for children and families. Whether church is a regular part of your Christmas or you have never been to a Christingle before, you are very welcome.

With traditional favourites including Once in Royal David’s City, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear and O Little Town of Bethlehem, alongside special music from our choirs, this is one of the great musical celebrations of Christmas.
