Children under 12, and accompanying parents, come to Pattishall Church on Friday afternoons during the winter period, to have fun creating beautiful things with card, tissue and sparkly paper, ribbon, glue, scissors and painting wonderful pictures. Bouquets of tissue paper flowers and rockets, not to mention some lovely bats and pipe cleaner spiders occupied a happy hour after school. Other activities included bead and jewellery making, building magnetic constructions, a lot of Lego train set, drawing and play dough tables, books and jigsaw puzzles.
Mum, dads with babies and toddlers enjoy a quiet hour from 3:00 with toys and play mat, while teas and cakes are served to anyone who come in, to include local residents of any age.
We would like more people to come and enjoy the comfortable, well lit and relaxed surroundings in the ancient church - it is a beautiful space for a play time, as well as a tranquil place for reflection.
