Accessibility
There is a wheelchair avaliable for occasional use.
Parking near to the church can be scarce, especially for weddings and funerals, so you may want to leave time to park a little distance away and walk to the church. We try to leave the area closest to the gate free for essential vehicles. Please do not park on the pathways.
Our Building
We have a beautiful east window featuring St John the Baptist pointing towards Jesus.
Music and Worship
Groups, Courses and Activities
Occasional groups convene to discuss themes such as lent.
We have a churchyard wildlife conservation group. Please see the separate link on this page for more information.
A bereavement group meets regularly.
Help for Visitors
The church is open daily for individual prayer from about 9am (sometimes a bit later), closing at dusk. There is a play area for younger children that you are welcome to make use of.
Other Features
The church purchases fairtrade coffee and tea for use after services.
The churchyard wildlife group has been working since about 2020 to try to improve biodiversity in the churchyard. We are recipients of a Silver Award from Wildlife BCN for our churchyard management, which includes the adoption of kerbed graves for planting flowers, maintenance of unmown areas, woodpiles, and bird houses.
A group of us are working towards improving our churchyard for biodiversity, via the Wildlife BCN Churchyard conservation scheme. New members are welcome! Email [email protected] for more information.
