A guided tour of this amazing historical church - parts date back to before the Norman Conquest! Looking at its beautiful carvings, and the stories behind some of the Rectors and others associated with the building.
Free tour but donations in aid of the church's maintenance warmly welcomed. We have a number of items of maintenance required over the next couple of years.

St John the Baptist's Church, Barnack

A welcoming, family friendly, mission orientated church working hard to serve the local community.

The church building is open every day for private prayer and visitors. Its treasures in stone include a fine Christ in Majesty, apparently in Byzantine style, and an Anglo-Norse carved coffin lid. The earliest parts of the church date from Anglo-Saxon times.

Worship takes place every Sunday at 9.30 pm. The normal pattern of worship is for Communion on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month, and Morning Praise on the 4th Sunday.
