Set in the grounds of a local manor estate, this very old church has a range of services to suit everyone, a sung communion at 11am on the first Sunday of the month and a said communion at 9.30 on the 2nd and 4th sundays. Finally an all age service at 11am on the third Sunday every month. The 11am services are both streamed via zoom and the connection details are available on this site.
If you wish to find out something about the Christian faith, or if you are already a long-term believer, you will find something new to learn and explore about Jesus, and friends to share the journey with, as we seek to follow Him.
We have made improvements to the building over recent years for the congregation, including toilet and kitchen facilities as well as a new organ. There are plenty of people to welcome you and we are always open to new ideas and extra helpers as we have lots to do but not always enough hands. We aim to provide for all ages - preschool, primary children, secondary and, of course, grown-ups. We are well known for excellent weddings and baptisms, helped by our attractive surroundings.

The parish of Great Oakley & Little Oakley: St Michael is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
