Church of England Diocese of Peterborough Irchester with Stanton Cross

About Us

St. Katharine's is an Anglican church in the modern catholic tradition with regular Eucharist services.  At St. Katharine's we aspire to be a community which is welcoming, growing, viable, missional, serving, and worshipping.

The church building dates mainly from the 13th century and has many beautiful features, including a 13th century stone font, a Jacobean wooden pulpit, and oak pews - some of which date back to the 15th century.  There is a ring of eight bells which are rung regularly.  The Victorian organ was built in 1860.

St Katharine's Mission Statement

St Katharine's Church exists to serve both the Church congregation and the community in Irchester, through its regular worship and prayer and its outreach to the village through social functions and to work with the village school.
