About Us

St. Katharine's is an Anglican church in the modern catholic tradition with regular Eucharist services.  Our vision is that St Katharine’s, Irchester will be a welcoming, vibrant church with a focus on worshipping, praying and growing together and reaching out into our community to share the Gospel of Christ.

The church building dates mainly from the 13th century and has many beautiful features, including a 13th century stone font, a Jacobean wooden pulpit, and oak pews - some of which date back to the 15th century.  There is a ring of eight bells which are rung regularly.  The Victorian organ was built in 1860.

Our mission statement is:

St Katharine’s Church will be a warm, welcoming Church for all generations where we will grow in belief, nurture and support one another on our faith journey, and reach out with confidence and Christian love to meet the needs of those within our community and throughout the world.
