During August, we will be holding our annual Cream Teas event at the village hall in aid of fundraising for the maintenance and repair of St James’ Church. Each year we rely on volunteers and it is a good opportunity for us to get together, and we know our visitors look forward to coming back to Grafton year after year. You are welcome to come along for a Cream Tea between 3pm and 5pm every Sunday During August. No need to book.

On Sunday, 30th August, The HandleBards performance company will be presenting “As You Like It” in the gardens of The Manor House, Grafton Underwood, from 7pm - 9pm. Pedalling from venue to venue with all their set, props and costumes on the back of their bikes the HandleBards are a four-strong troupe of actors who are spending the summer bringing environmentally sustainable Shakespeare to venues across the UK. This is an outdoor production, so please bring a chair or blanket to sit on, a picnic to dig into and dress for the weather! Doors open at 6pm. There will be a bar available and fundraising is in aid of St James’ Church, Grafton.
