Church of England Diocese of Peterborough Thurning

St James the Great

"The parish of Thurning: St James the Great is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

There are six parishes in the Brookfields Benefice of which Thurning, St James the Great is one. Due to Covid19 we are unable to have regular worship at St James. However there is a service of Holy Communion at 10am in one of the seven buildings across Brookfields. Please contact Rev'd Cathy Brazier 01832 270936 who will be delighted to help with any inquiry.
