At St Peter's on the first Sunday of the month, at 10am for approximately 45 minutes, we hold All Age Worship To learn more about Jesus and Christian faith! Music, activities, listening, praying and more, in an informal setting People of all ages are welcome: do come along! On the third Sunday of the month, at 11am for approximately 60 minutes, we celebrate Holy Communion. Holy Communion in the Church of England is a communal act of remembrance and participation in the sacrifice of Christ. It includes hymns, prayers, Bible readings, and a sermon or address. Holy Communion is a service in which the faithful come forward to receive bread and wine, as the body and blood of Christ, or instead come forward to receive a blessing. Again, all ages welcome! Coffee and fellowship mornings are held each Wednesday between 10.30 and 12 Noon. St Peter's hosts community and civic events, the Festivals, Times and Seasons of the year, and the Occasional Offices of Christenings, Weddings and Funerals. We welcome the pupils and staff of Empingham Church of England Primary School for their services and celebrations.

Rutland Concert Band was formed in May of 2008. It is a community wind band whose main purpose is to provide local musicians of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to play in a band. The band has grown steadily since its formation and we currently have over 60 players. Players range from primary school age to retirees, from relative beginners to accomplished musicians. The beauty is that everyone helps and learns from each other. We play a wide range of music of varying difficulty to suit all grades of player, from Pirates of the Caribbean and Wallace and Gromit, to The Impresario by Mozart and Fantasia on British Sea Songs by Henry Wood.

Lifted beyond the hill
clouds cradle His feet,
light spills where sky opens wide—
earth sighs, heaven sings.
