St Nicholas Chapel, Langstone

St Nicholas Chapel is a 'chapel of ease' - a chapel intended to help people worship when they are unable to make the journey to the parish church.  Services of Holy Communion are held on the third Sunday of each month, at 11am.

We open the chapel most days, weather and volunteers permitting.  It is a lovely space for a few moments of quiet reflection or prayer.  Do take a look if you are passing!

The chapel is also used by the Langstone Village Association as a meeting room and space for coffee mornings, talks and the like.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Havant: St Faith is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Portsmouth’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO (Pauline West via the Parish Office) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Team, via the Dioces of Portmsouth website. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
