Celebrating Christ's Presence: Ash Wednesday

Occurring: 18 Feb 2026, noon for 8 hours
Venue: St Mary's, Portsea

At the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection and consolidation of faith, we place the sign of a cross in ash on our foreheads to remind us that without God and his love we are no more than the dust of the earth.

To receive the imposition of ashes, join us either at 12pm or 7pm as we 'remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return.'
