Join us as we celebrate the Assumption of Mary, when God took Mary's body and soul into heaven. At 10am we will be holding an outdoor mass (weather permitting) in our churchyard.
After the service, we will be hosting a picnic lunch (bring your own food), accompanied by music from RBL Victory Brass Band and a range of fun activities for all ages.

We are opening up our historic church tower to the general public! As well as providing you with a new perspective of our Victorian church and its belfry, this is also an exciting opportunity to take in a unique view of Portsmouth from 167 feet in the air.

Come along to St Mary's Churchyard for fun family activities, perfect for keeping young people engaged and active. These sessions will be taking place on 12, 19, 26 and 27 August, from 10-2 each day.
Throughout the day, there will be 45-Minute Gel Blaster sessions (ages 8+ only). There will also be self-led fun zones for children to tackle at their own pace, featuring: LEGO building & car racing, craft tables, and sports stations (including cricket, lacrosse, football and frisbee).

Young families are invited to St Faith's to hear the story of a tired shoemaker and the magical help he receives. Bringing the characters to life with puppets, this show by Rachel Goodall will also give the audience the opportunity to meet the characters and make their own small puppet after the show.
