Pre-Raphaelite Stained glass windows

The National Chest Hospital was built in Ventnor in1868 to look after patients particularly with tuberculosis.It The mild coastal climate was thought to be beneficial for their recovery.When treatment became available for TB, the hospital was no longer needed and it was dismantled in 1969. 

The windows were then transferred to the parish church of St Lawrence where they still be seen in all their glory.
