Each Sunday morning there is a service in St John's Church at 9.30am followed by tea and coffee in the hall.
The services are family friendly and alternate between Holy Communion and a simple morning service.
Everyone is welcome to join us.
Junior Church meets during Holy Communion services in the church hall during school term time.

Chatterbox is a friendly carer and toddler group run in St John's Church Hall on Mondays during school term time. There are plenty of toys to play with and refreshments for all ages. At the end of each term we have a short informal service in the church. Chatterbox is run by St John's Church and there is no charge.

For members of our community who are looking from friendship and companionship.

Our membership has dropped in the last few months due to illness or disabilities and we are now looking to increase our numbers. If anybody would like to join us we would be very pleased to welcome you.

A short midweek service of around 30 minutes which alternates between Holy Communion and Morning Prayer. All are welcome and booking is not necessary.

There will be something for all the family st St John's Christmas Fair with stalls, refreshments including light lunches and live music.

Junior Church usually runs on the first and third Sunday of each month during the morning service in school term time. It includes a mix of Bible stories, games, craft and prayer and is open to children from 2 to 12 years old.
Junior Church begins in the hall and ends in church, joining in the service with everyone else.
All leaders and helpers have received safeguarding training and are DBS checked.

A special Cafe style service for Christmas lead by St John's Junior Church. The service will be interactive and suitable for families.
Refreshments will be available throughout the service.

Refreshments including mince pies will be served in the church hall after the service.

A special service of Holy Communion including a Christingle followed by refreshments in the church hall.
This service will be suitable for families.

A special Crib service for families on Christmas Eve retelling the Christmas story.

A traditional service of Midnight Mass by candlelight.

A special simple family service for Christmas Day.
Bring along your favourite present and join in celebrating Christmas.

A special service of Holy Communion for all the churches in the Newport and Carisbrooke with Gatcombe Benefice followed by refreshments in the church hall.
There will be no service at the other churches on this day.
