Every day since the Coronavirus crisis lockdown began, the congregation of Newport Minster have gathered together online for fellowship and to pray together. We do this by Zoom conferencing.

We start at 11:00am, for about an hour and anyone and everyone is welcome to drop in and out as little or as much as they want to.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us. If you would like to join us, please contact us. You can do this by sending us a direct message or emailing [email protected] or [email protected] We will then make arrangements for you to join us. Please allow us plenty of time to respond and make the arrangements.

Newport Minster Holy Communion

Every Sunday at 11:15 a.m. for 25m

Every Sunday since the Coronavirus crisis began, the congregation of Newport Minster have gathered online to worship, listen to the Gospel, pray, share the Peace and take part in a Spiritual Communion together. We have done this using Zoom.

This Sunday (12th July 2020), we will be celebrating Holy Communion from inside Newport Minster and our Zoom congregation will be joining us online simultaneously for the 10:30 service.

Due to the current restrictions there is a limit of thirty people inside the Minster at any one time. Social distancing has to be observed and there will be no singing. The Rector and Archdeacon of the Isle of Wight, The Venerable Peter Leonard will be taking both services. There are no restrictions as to how many can join us online via Zoom.
