Welcome to Alverstoke Parish Church with its centres of worship at St.Mary's, St.Faith's and St.Francis' plus our two community centres and a sailing club!
We aim to share God's love in the community as we seek to be alive to God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Located at western the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour the Church of England in Alverstoke Parish worships in three different buildings: St.Mary's Alverstoke, St.Faith's Leesland and St.Francis Clayhall. Worship is also hosted in St.Luke's private chapel once a month on the for RN Hospital Haslar site on the harbour side.
The Parish Centre and the Brodrick Hall host a full programme of community events and church activities.
The Parish of Alverstoke: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Portsmouth’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
