Refreshments available from 10.20am - help yourself to tea/freshly brewed coffee and take it to your pew. Church Alive is a relaxed informal all-age family worship service with breakaway groups for children's activities (sometimes grown-up ones too!). We sing modern worship songs and the occasional Hymn - with our worship band and community choir. Once a month we have brunch before in the parish centre and celebrate Communion later in the service.

St. Mary's Church Alverstoke Christmas Tree Festival 2025

Join us at St. Mary’s Church in Alverstoke for our much-loved Christmas Tree Festival from Thursday 4th December to Sunday 7th December 2025. This festive event features over 70 Christmas trees beautifully decorated by local schools, charities, community groups and businesses, and a variety of musical performances (with some quiet times).

Entry is still £3 for adults, and children can attend for free, provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Event Schedule:

Opening ceremony and lighting of the trees: 1815 – 1930 Thursday 4th December
Open to the public:

•     Friday: 1530 – 1900
•     Saturday: 1100 – 1800
•     Sunday: 1200 – 1800

Refreshments will be available to purchase in the parish centre on both Saturday and Sunday to keep you warm as you enjoy the festivities – tea/coffee, soft drinks, soup, sausage rolls, snacks and cakes.
