Celebrate Christmas Eve with our family-friendly Crib Service. Through simple readings, carols, and the telling of the Nativity story, we gather around the crib to remember the birth of Jesus. A joyful and welcoming service for all ages, especially children and families. Come at either 3pm or 4.30pm - both services are the same.

Two services - One at 3.00pm and again at 4.30pm (each service is the same).

St Mary's, Alverstoke

Welcome to Alverstoke Parish Church with its centres of worship at St.Mary's, St.Faith's and St.Francis' plus our two community centres and a sailing club! 

We aim to share God's love in the community as we seek to be alive to God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Overlooking the Solent, Alverstoke Parish worships in three different buildings: St.Mary's Alverstoke, St.Faith's, Leesland (including Leesland Neighbourhood Church) and St.Francis, Clayhall. Worship is also hosted in St.Luke's private chapel once a month on the former RN Hospital Haslar site.

The Parish Centre and the Brodrick Hall host a full programme of community events and church activities.

Our parish of Alverstoke: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
