Welcome to the the parish church of St John the Baptist, Sevenoaks.
I hope this will be useful for those of you wanting to find out more about us, what we do, and our mission.
St John's is a Anglo-Catholic Church in the northern part of Sevenoaks. We pride ourselves on being a Church that is open every day and all day for our local community to pray in.
At the heart of all we do is the Mass, or Eucharist. This act of worship happens every day. We call people to a full life in the Church through her sacraments and teaching.
Please look at these details and at our website which will tell you far more about us.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any enquiries or if we can help in any way.
The parish of Sevenoaks: St John the Baptist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
You are very welcome at our Advent and Christmas services and events – bring your family and friends or come along on your own. Whether it will be your first time at church or you have been before, we look forward to welcoming you!
