Church of England Diocese of Oxford Lavendon

About Us

St Michael's Church is a very beautiful old Church situated right in the centre of Lavendon village.

We have Communion services (Common Worship) on 2nd and 3rd Sundays at 9.30am and an informal service run by the Home Team on the 1st Sunday also at 9.30am. However children are welcome at all services and we have now been awarded the status of a   "Child Friendly Church".

On the 4th Sunday each month there is a communion service in the other church in the parish, St Mary, Cold Brayfield.

Compline is said ever Thursday evening at 7.30pm. Currently cancelled through lack of attendees.

When there is a 5th Sunday in the month a combined Communion service is held in one of the eight churches in the Benefice at 10.00am. Please ask.

At Christmas the Church is always beautifully decorated and there is a full range of traditional services, Christingle, Carol, Midnight and Christmas Day Communion.

There are twice-monthly bible studies on Tuesdays and Thursdays

St Michael's has a good relationship with the local Primary School
