Safeguarding

St John's Park is committed to high standards in the safeguarding and care of children, young people, and vulnerable adults across all areas of church life.

The care and protection of children, young people, and adults involved in Church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the Church. We follow the Church of England House of Bishops safeguarding policy for children, young people, and adults.

The Diocese of Sheffield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Claire Smith [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Siân Checkley
[email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
