St Oswald's

Welcome to St Oswald’s!

We are a loving, welcoming and multi-generational church, based in the heart of Abbeydale, Sheffield.

We worship in our church building every Sunday.

We have two services on Sunday mornings - a 9am traditional communion service, and a 10.30 contemporary worship service with a kids group.

Around once a month we have a joint service all together at 10.30am.

Please visit this page to see details of our upcoming joint services, other events & news:

Our Mission is to Love God, Love People and make disciples.

Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God and love our neighbour, and His great commission is to make disciples of all nations.

Everyone is welcome.

No matter where you’re from or where you are on your faith journey.

We hope to see you soon!

Safeguarding

Our parish of St Peter & St Oswald Sheffield is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Sheffield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the our PSO Richard Blyth and please also go to the Safeguarding page or contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Siân Checkley. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
