From 4th July 2021, our 10.30 am Sunday morning services are held in church but are also live-streamed for those people who aren't able to join us. The link will be emailed out before the service and will also be available on this website.

Everyone welcome to come and knit, sew, craft or just chat and enjoy a drink and a slice of cake.

The café is for those living at home with memory loss and their carers, and older people living alone.

There is a service in church at 10.30 am every Wednesday, except during August.

The format of the service includes a study passage read by the person who chose it, followed by discussion of the passage, and Holy Communion is often celebrated.

For those seeking meaning, nurture, and spiritual sustenance amidst the demands and challenges of life, A Sacred Space offers you a gentle nudge to come along.
Held on the last Thursday of each month at 7.30pm, this hour-long contemplative service weaves together music, poetry, readings, silence, and reflection.
It’s a space for stillness, depth, and presence—open to anyone longing for connection beyond the noise.
Whether you’re a church goer or not, you are warmly welcome to come as you are, and simply rest and restore yourself in this grounding space.

Our café will be selling hot and cold drinks, light lunches and lots of cake, and there will be children’s activities available!

We will be screening “Hoppers”, a PIXAR animated science fiction comedy with an eco-theme.

This will be a very family orientated, relaxed screening.
There is a space at the back for those who need a break from the movie, plus we have a quiet room.
There will be some craft and other gentle activities available during the movie.

A new film featuring Chris Packham, leading climate and nature scientists, a former general and Jennifer Saunders - all being pretty frank about where things are heading and what can be done about it.

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. This film brings this evidence together in a single, accessible format and will be followed by a facilitated discussion.

Volunteers will be on hand to tell you about the church; refreshments and children’s activities will be available.

Our garden is also open to all - and if you look up, you will be able to see our spire, which has recently been repaired.

Why not pop in, while you're visiting the church, to see the magnificent stained glass window depicting War, Peace, Agriculture and Commerce? You will also be able to see the war memorial tablets from the old St Andrew’s Sharrow Church, which record those from the parish who died in the First World War.

A folder of information about each man named on the memorial – compiled in 2014 to commemorate 100 years since the start of the War and celebrate the Everyday Histories of the local men who died – can be seen in the church library.

Bring your wonky stuff and get it fixed!

We will be offering repairs of wooden, metal and electrical items, including PAT testing, and sewing repairs.

If you don’t have anything that needs mending, we’d still love you to come! As part of the Heritage Open Days festival, you’re welcome to have a look around our beautiful church, have a drink or snack at our café or simply enjoy the quiet space and wonderful light of the building.

We'll be serving hot and cold drinks, light lunches, and lots of cake; plus there will be a stall selling lots of FairTrade items and children’s activities will be available.

All repairs are free but any donations, and profits from the refreshments, will be sent to The Archer Project.
