At St James’, our worship is rooted in the Anglo-Catholic tradition, using the beautiful words of Common Worship. Our services include hymns, Bible readings, and Holy Communion, and we journey together through the seasons of the Church year. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a regular churchgoer, exploring faith for the first time, or just looking for a quiet space. We want our worship to be accessible, so if there’s anything we can do to support you, please do let us know. Children are always part of our church family; there’s a dedicated children’s area, as well as an accessible toilet with baby-changing facilities. Whoever you are, you will find a warm welcome here.

You're warmly invited to our Sunday service!

Our usual service is a joyful celebration of Holy Communion, with uplifting hymns, inspiring readings, prayers, and a thoughtful sermon. Whether you're new to church, visiting for the first time, or returning, we are so happy to welcome you! Families are especially welcome. We have a special space where children can colour and play, and we encourage parents to help their little ones engage with the service in whatever way feels right for them.

We truly look forward to seeing you!
