Barnby Dun Church

Our Church Tower is in need of repair and is letting water into the Church. This is currently being repaired but as this is an historic building, it has to be done by builders who are specialised in such work. This has drained the available funds of the Church. We have also suffered theft of lead from parts of the Church roof. This will cost £9000 to repair. Insurance will cover most of the repair work but not it all. We therefore have to find additional funds to cover this as well. To raise money, we are researching grants and holding social events as these large amounts of money cannot be borne by the congregation alone. Our request to you, is if you can, support us in any way you can. We have a beautiful Church in Barnby Dun and we can't leave it to descend into disrepair and neglect.
