Prepare for the Nativity of Our Lord by joining with brothers and sisters from across the Mission Area for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, relaxed study and prayer
Tuesdays during Advent.

Meet Our Lord and Saviour in the eucharist, spend thirty minutes in prayer and quiet reflection. This week all at S. Leonards unless otherwise stated.
All restrictions put in place to combat the Covid Pandemic have now been set aside. However, individuals are asked to act responsibly and respect each other's space. If you prefer to continue with precautions such as a mask and hand sanitizing then please feel free to do so, the pandemic has not yet gone away.
Mass times this week are Monday A Sung Mass at 7pm at All Saints Arksey, Tuesday 9.30am at S. Philip and S. James, Wednesday 9.30am at All Saints Arksey, Thursday 12.30pm at S. Leonard's, Friday 9.30am at S. Leonard's, Saturday 9.30am at All Saints Arksey and Sunday a Sung Mass at All Saints Arksey at 9am, Mass of the day at S. Philip and S. James at 10.15am and a Solemn Mass at S. Leonard's at 11.00am.

If you like to sing and praise the Lord, come along, you will be welcome.

Exposition or adoring the Eucharistic presence of Christ; in a deeper sense it involves the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ, truly present before us. During Eucharistic adoration we watch and wait, we remain silent in His presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist.
Mass follows at 12.30pm.

A time for prayer and reflection as we contemplate the joyful mysteries, the luminous mysteries, the sorrowful mysteries and the glorious mysteries. We begin with the Our Father, three Hail Mary's and the Glory Be, but if you are not sure come along for this time of quiet and someone will help you out.
Coffee and Cake is provided afterwards.

An event for all the family. Come and join us to sing those much loved carols and if you wish join in with the Scratch Nativity, What is a Scratch Nativity? Well you bring your own costume, improvised of course. If you want to be a shepherd put a tea towel on your head, if you want to be a king wear a crown. Sadly we can only have one Mary, one Joseph and one baby Jesus. Mulled wine and mince pies afterwards.

The Nativity of our Lord and Saviour begins with a Family Vigil Mass. Just as God prepared the people of Israel to receive his son, we prepare to welcome him. Everyone is welcome, particularly families, the young and the young at heart.

Just what it says, half an hour singing some favourite carols before Midnight Mass. A time for quiet reflection and prayer.

Tonight we celebrate the birth of a child who was to bring the joy of God's saving love to the whole world. And we make our own the jubilant cry of the angels 'Glory to God in the highest heaven and peace to all who enjoy God's favour.'
If you haven't been to Mass for a while then perhaps tonight is the time for you.

For us the Word of God is no longer the message spoken by the prophets, but the messenger of God in person, the eternal Word begotten of the Father before time began, who brings the good news of salvation.
Join us at a time not too early and not too late for a Mass suitable for all the family.

We too bless God for Mary who bore for us the child she named Jesus the Saviour thus fulfilling the words of the prophets.
A solemn Mass followed by a few drinks and nibbles.

Solemn Vigil Mass of the Epiphany and blessing of the Epiphany Water. This will be Father David's final Mass in the parish before his move to the Diocese of Blackburn. There will be drinks and nibbles afterwards.
