About Us

St John the Baptist is a village church for the people of Misson. The friendly congregation welcome all people to services and social events. Children are welcome to any service. Messy Church takes place on the 2nd Thursday of every month and the local pre-school come into the church for songs and a story each month.

The church is in a group of churches called The River Idle Benefice (Bawtry, Austerfield, Misson, Mattersey & Everton).

From September 2026, join us for Common Worship Daily Prayer, at St John the Baptist Church, Misson every Wednesday morning from 9.30 - 10.00am.
