We usually meet between 10.30-11.30am on Friday mornings
The choir sings on second and fourth Sundays at the 10.30am service and for special occasions. We always welcome new members. If you have a passion for singing contact, please contact us and our choir master will happily contact you.

Fancy a cuppa? Come and join us in the foyer of church every Saturday mornings for refreshments and company. We serve a variety of hot beverages, cakes along with toast and tea cakes. The first Saturday of each month, we serve breakfast cobs. Check out some homemade cards and books for sale. Everyone welcome.

Worshipping together as one church family across Blidworth and Rainworth as well as our online gathering. Together we will listen and reflect upon God's Word, pray, sing and share Holy Communion together. All are welcome, we'd love to see you!

Raising awareness of what we mean by safeguarding and how we all play a part in keeping people safe and safe space. As part of this service we will sing hymns, listen to God's Word and prayer. All are welcome. This service is also blended with Zoom

New group started offering friendship for all including those living with dementia. It happens the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 2-4pm at St Simon and St Jude Church in Rainworth. It's okay to just turn up, you will be made most welcome. Donation towards refreshments welcome.

Lessons and hymns reflecting upon what we mean by 'Harvest'. A service of celebration and giving thanks as we listen and reflect upon God's Word, pray, sing and share Holy Communion together.

We will be remembering those we love but no longer see. During the service, loved ones names will be read out and there is an opportunity to light a candle if you wish. We will be singing hymns, praying together and listening to Bible readings and reflecting upon the importance of remembering and hope. All are welcome to attend

Do you enjoy singing? Would you like to learn some new songs and hymns? Come and Sing might be just for you. We start in the foyer where we will have a good sing, learn some new songs/hymns and then move into church for a short service.

St Simon and St Jude church in Rainworth will be hosting The Mansfield & District Male Voice Choir and Mansfield Latvian "Novadi" Ladies Choir for a concert on Saturday 11th October at 7pm. Our 1st of 2 Remembrance Sunday services will be a Holy Communion service when we will listen to God's Word, pray and sing together and remember the fallen. There will be an outdoor service at 10.45am at the outside war memorial.

There are 2 outdoor services at the war memorials in both our villages of Blidworth and Rainworth at 10.45am. We are also hosting a 9.15am indoor service at St Simon and St Jude's and an online service at 10.45am (email [email protected] for a Zoom link).

We are very excited about our Christmas Tree Festival and alongside this, we will have a Christmas market and the stalls will include fabulous raffle, tombola, Christmas baking, Children's stall as well as coffee and mince pies and even bacon and sausage cobs! Will be wonderful and we'd love to see you.

A service with singing, prayers and reflecting upon God's Word. All welcome

This service begins outside, weather permitting, with the first part of the carol service around a fire pit and ends with the switching on of the outdoor Christmas tree lights. We then move inside for the second part of the carol service with the Tree of Memories when you have an opportunity to put a Christmas bauble on our indoor Christmas Tree in memory of a loved one you see on longer. All are welcome. Come to the first part or the second part or all of the service to suit your needs. There is no need to book. We'd love to see you

Family Christmas service with Christingle oranges. Beautiful service for all ages when we listen to the Christmas story and gather in a circle with lowered lights with our lit Christingles to sing Away in a manger.
