St Martin's church, Bole is a grade two listed building dating back to the 13th century. St Martin's is in the Southwell & Nottingham Diocese, Newark Archdeaconary and Bassetlaw & Bawtry Deanery. The church along with Hayton, Clarborough, Sturton le Steeple & North Wheatley forms the Clays Group of Churches. There is one WW1 grave in the church yard. Friendly servics take place twice a month at St Martin's.
