Worship Night

Occurring
Monthly. Every Last Tuesday at for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St. Swithun's (STS)
Address
Chapelgate, Retford, DN22 6PL, United Kingdom

Join us on the last Tuesday of every month for an evening set aside to worship Jesus together. These gatherings are centred around extended sung worship, with prayer woven through the evening.

Whether you’re part of our church family or simply exploring faith, you are very welcome. It’s a chance to pause in the busyness of life, encounter God, and gather with others in an expectant atmosphere.

Come as you are and spend an evening lifting your eyes to God with us.

St. Swithun's (STS)

Welcome to St. Swithun’s Church.

We’re a community of ordinary people who want to know God, grow in freedom, discover our purpose, and make a difference in the world around us. Whether you’ve been to church many times or never before, you are genuinely welcome here.

You’re warmly invited to join us on Sundays at 11, or come along to any of our events during the week. There’s no pressure, just come as you are!

We’d love to meet you.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Retford St Swithun is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO here at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor here at [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
