St Bartholomews, Sutton cum Lound

St Bartholomews is the historic parish church of Sutton cum Lound in Nottinghamshire.  Everyone is welcome.

Our Church is open.

In all instances, we are following national guidance issued by the Church of England and strict social distancing is observed.

St Bartholomews church usually holds weekly services and offers a place for quiet and reflection. Within the church there is the Lady Chapel which is dedicated to St Anne and the church which was once in neighbouring village Lound.  You may wish to come in to light a candle or to write a request for prayer.

Many people come here for special events in their lives. We are able to celebrate weddings, to offer baptism and to give thanks to God for a person’s life at a funeral.

People of all ages and from different walks of life are members of the church. We serve our community in many ways, living as disciples of Christ and sharing God’s love as Jesus taught us to do.
