Join the NHCT for Ride+Stride where you can have a great day out, visiting Nottinghamshire’s historic churches whilst raising funds for their preservation.

With many churches and chapels up and down the county open between 10am and 6pm, Ride+Stride is a great opportunity to learn more of their stories and explore the heritage of your local area.

You are sponsored to visit churches who are also sponsored for welcoming visitors.

The total money raised is split between the trust and those participating churches. Visit as many as you can – set yourself a challenge. Can you visit all of the churches in your parish? It is completely up to you – you decide how far and how many. The church doors are open – they look forward to welcoming you so stop by, be curious, have a chat and a well-deserved cup of tea of course.

The combination of exploring heritage and exercising across our beautiful county, whilst supporting the trust to carry out its vital work, makes this a fantastic local event.
