Current services

Sunday 10am on Zoom

     from 11am on Facebook

Tues to Fri 9am and 5pm on Zoom

At present, the guidelines state that it remains possible to worship communally, but this is a matter for each incumbent, in consultation with church officials, to decide what is appropriate in the interests of safety.

Therefore, after a great deal of consideration Hazel and all the churchwardens have decided that because the latest strain of the Covid-19 virus is so transmissible, public worship in all our churches is temporarily paused to keep everyone safe. We will, however, continue to open the churches for funeral services. This is in line with many places of worship in the area. We will undertake a review at the end of the month.

Our other church activities have been paused until advised otherwise.

"The parish of Annesley w Newstead is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
