St John the Baptist

Welcome to St. John the Baptist, Gunthorpe

St. John's is currently closed for Sunday worship, but our parish church, St. Mary's at Lowdham is open for 'in person' worship at 9.00a.m. each Sunday.

Holy Communion will be held at St. John's at 10.00a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month.

Everyone is very welcome to join us at any church service and we look forward to seeing you.

Although wearing face masks is no longer mandatory, we are encouraging everyone to be mindful of others and keep each other as safe as possible. Please do not attend church if you have any Covid symptoms or have tested positive.

More details of all our services and events can be found on the Benefice newsletter.

As a parish, we are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). <span style="font-size: 1rem;">The Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."</span>
