This small village is a thriving community close to the Minster town of Southwell, and some 6 miles from Newark on Trent. The parish is part of the jount benefices known as The West Trent Group of Churches.
The vicar is Revd James Moring.
The church itself dates back to Saxon times, but is basically a Norman church with some alter additions. It is Grade 1 listed.
