St. Mary the Virgin & All Souls Church, Bulwell (‘The Church on the Hill’ NG6 9AD) is on the search for would-be Choir members of all ages.

At present, the choir consists of approximately 12 members, singing in all parts. However, generating more members would allow us to stabilize the choir, especially when members are not able to attend.

Whilst all parts would be welcome, men’s voices (Alto/Tenor/Bass) are a particular need as we only have one to a part in most cases.

Whilst singers who can read music is a plus, we can accommodate singers who may need help with this.

The style of music that the Choir currently sing ranges from traditional church hymns and music, all the way up to contemporary.

The Choir rehearses on Sunday’s, both before and after the service.

The church is also looking to start a Junior Choir for Key Stage 2 (7-11) in the autumn.
