All Saints' Church, Halifax

Welcome.

We’re delighted you’re finding out a bit more about life at All Saints, Halifax.

We’re a diverse community committed to worshipping Jesus and helping others to know him too

Our parish covers the area of Skircoat Green, Copley, and Salterhebble but our congregation is made up of people all over Halifax and Calderdale. We have people who have been to church since before they were born and people who have just started coming. We have babies, teenagers, singles, families, and plenty of those who are a few years older than they feel.

Whether you’re a regular church goer, new to the area, someone in the local community, someone just beginning to ask questions about what faith might mean or you ended up here by accident, welcome! We long to help you know God better.  You'll find some information here, but please go to our website www.allsaintshalifax.org.uk or our facebook page to get the most up to date info.  Or feel free to get in touch and ask a question!

The parish of Halifax: All Saints is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. Everyone is given a warm welcome at the door by a member of the welcome team. If you’re unsure about anything they are great people to ask. If you’re new, they can introduce you to a person who has been at All Saints for a while and ensure you’re comfortable.
Our 10:30 service is lively with music led by our band. The congregation is a mix of all ages and stages and we serve refreshments afterwards in the lounge. We have groups for children and teenagers in term time (and a creche space for the youngest in our congregation). Our normal service lasts about 1hour 15mins.
If you’re coming with children, we understand that God made them great at wiggling, noisy and asking great questions. Therefore we are relaxed about children moving around and making noise in the service, there is no need to do the ‘shush’. There is plenty space around the building if you need a bit space, but know you are welcome in all the joy and chaos that life with children brings.
We tend to have communion once a month, and children are invited to re-join their families at this point in the service.
Approximately once a month we all stay together for an ‘All age’ Service, these are very varied, sometimes we’ll gather around tables (café style) or have a special theme to look and think about. These services last less than 1 hour.
