Safeguarding Policy Statement Promoting a Safer Church, House of Bishops 2017

The Policy Statement on Safeguarding in the Church was adopted by St Cuthbert's Church, Birkby at a Parochial Church Council meeting held on 26th February 2019. The policy was reviewed on 10th March 2021 and adopted by St Cuthbert's PCC for a further year.

Each person who works within this church will agree to abide by these recommendations and the guidelines established by this church. The church appoints  Mrs Rachel Clegg as the Parish Safeguarding Officer.

This policy will be reviewed annually.
