The current church of St Thomas was built in 1974 and is a multi-functional building consisting of a church, prayer chapel, hall, kitchen, lounge and meeting rooms.

The Church is called by God to grow by living out the Gospel of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit using in love the gifts that God is giving each one, through prayer, praise and worship.

Worship at the main Sunday services varies but is always friendly and informal. The services in general take one of the following 3 formats:

Holy Communion based on Common Worship is 2nd and 4th Sunday's

Worship4All which is led by members of the worship team is 1st Sunday's  This can vary in style and presentation but is always welcoming and inclusive.

Various children’s groups,(Superstars) which cater for all ages, are available during part of the service.

Refreshments are provided after all main services.

Average Sunday attendance is 75

The church has many different expressions of worship that take place throughout the week.  These include House Groups and Prayer Groups, YB (Young Believers - teenagers meet for friendship and Christian teaching), and TC’s (Tommy’s Church for younger children to worship God and find out more about Him in a fun environment through craft, stories and song).

There are regular social groups such as a Luncheon Club, and Afternoon Fellowship where people meet informally and enjoy a wide range of activities and guest speakers.
