Part of the Upper Holme Valley Team Ministry, Christ Church New Mill is an active church with a vibrant group of children (Junior church meets regularly on Sunday mornings; the Weavers Youth group meets on alternate Sunday evenings; the Junior Choir rehearses on Monday evenings), and a wide range of different service styles (from Family services with activities for young and old, through Common Worship Communion, using both modern and traditional music, to BCP Matins using traditional hymns. The church boasts a fine traditional choir that lives in harmony with its worship band.
