The parish of Skelmanthorpe: St Aidan's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Holy Communion

Every Sunday at 10 a.m. for 1hr

Radcliffe Street
Skelmanthorpe
Huddersfield

Our main 10.00am service is usually based on the Common Worship rite, with Bible readings from the three year Revised Common Lectionary - except for a simplified rite for the All-age Service normally on the third Sunday of the month. On the first Sunday we use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer for a 9.30am service of Holy Communion, followed at 11.00am with a contemporary informal worship.

For further details please check our website: http://www.staidanschurch-skelmanthorpe.org.uk/

Coffee is served after every main service.

We welcome the baptised (Christened) of all traditions to receive holy communion: and if you belong to another Faith (or have no faith) you are also very welcome.
