The Mass in the Chancel (in the choir stalls) front) is a simple service with no singing although we will listen to some hymns. It is a time mid-week for you to be with God, away from the hussle and bussle of everyday life.

The service will start at approximately 11.20am after the Said Mass. You can either stay after the Mass or just come to church for The Healing Service - all are welcome.

This service offers a quiet and prayerful opportunity to seek God's healing presence through prayer, silence, and anointing with oil. In the Christian tradition, anointing with oil is a sign of God's love, care, and healing grace, recalling the ministry of Jesus Christ who brought wholeness to all who came to him in faith.

Healing may come in many forms: physical, emotional, spiritual, or relational. This service is not only for those experiencing illness, but for anyone seeking God's strength, comfort, peace, or renewal. As we gather in the presence of God, we come trusting in his compassion and mercy.

We do not presume how God will act, but we place ourselves in His loving hands, confident that nothing can separate us from his love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Throughout the service and also when leaving please respect the silence for others. The service will last approximately 20 minutes.
