The church is usually open during the daytime for private prayer

The church was built 1884-5 and was designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield in the
Early English Style. It has a chancel, nave, narthex, north transept(vestry), north
aisle and a north-west tower. It has flint walling, brick bands and stone dressings.
The interior walling is in red brickwork, with sparse stone dressings, the pointed
arcade resting on cylindrical columns, with square molded caps and bases. The
arch-braced trusses, resting on stone corbels, the chancel being ceiled with
painted panels.
