Church of England Diocese of Winchester Lasham

About Us

Welcome to this your church.

Please go to the "News and notices" tab on the left for our Covid-19 announcement about the church building having been temporarily closed during the 3rd Lockdown. Following the Government's "Road Map", we are delighted to have reopened for Easter, whilst maintaining the arrangements for online services. Whatever the circumstances, we look forward to welcoming you.

The parish of St Mary's, Lasham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Lasham is one of the Parishes in the United Benefice of Bentworth, Lasham, Medstead and Shalden and is located about 3 miles north of Alton off the A339 road between Alton and Basingstoke.
