Church of England Diocese of Winchester Hartley Wintney and Elvetham

St John's

We are a vibrant Anglican church in Hartley Wintney committed to growing together as followers of Jesus, as well as to reaching out to the community around us and serving others further away. We believe that the word of God is central and vital to all we do as a church. We also believe in the powerful work of the Holy Spirit. Our vision is to see everyone know the fullness of God’s love in Jesus through our welcome, worship, work and witness.

The parish of Hartley Wintney with Elvetham: St John the Evangelist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
