St. Mary’s, Herriard is a large beautiful Norman church which can be found in Herriard on the A339 between Basingstoke and Alton.
There are services every Sunday as follows:
1st Sunday, 11.15 a.m., Family Communion
2nd Sunday, 8.00 a.m., 1662 Holy Communion
3rd Sunday, 10.00 a.m., Morning Prayer or Matins (alternate months)
4th Sunday, 10.00 a.m., Family Service
The worship pattern encompasses a wide variety of traditions from the 1662 Communion service through to an informal monthly family service and the church receives much support from the village. This is particularly the case at Harvest, Remembrance Sunday, the Advent evening Carol Service and Christingle and Christmas services in December.
All the services are followed by refreshments to give us an opportunity to meet with one another.
Service details and other information may be found in the monthly Parish Magazine, which is shared with Tunworth, Upton Grey and Weston Patrick and may be viewed or downloaded at www.uptongreychurch.co.uk.
All are welcome.
