About Us

We are a lively Anglican church for the whole village of Overton.
The church is made up of people at all stages on the faith journey and all ages and backgrounds.

There are good facilities for children and young people to enjoy their own activities. We make good use of our modern Church Rooms with midweek groups running for children and the local community.

Our main Sunday service is at 10:30 am. Weekly home groups are the backbone of the church where people meet to encourage and support each other and grow in our faith in Jesus Christ.

You can contact the Rector- Rev'd James Russell on 01256 589614

The parish of Overton: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
